Descripción/description

Cientos de meteoritos se aproximan continuamente a los planetas habitados por los Magos Fractales. Sistemas de todo tipo protegen las colonias espaciales: defensas planetarias (Gran Mago que juega con la geometría del caos/CmdrChaos), misiles interplanetarios (el Paciente mago compositor de fractales/Gipgm2), misiles trazadores (el Embajador Fractal/Oxnot),etc... También la mayoría de colonias están dotadas de silos de misiles (Mago del Caos ordenado en fractales/fraterchaos) y de puestos avanzados (Mago que diseña superficies fractales de información/MatthewHaggett) para controlar cualquier amenaza.

Pero hay peligros tan enormes que provocan catástrofes colosales incluso contando con la colaboración de muchos Magos y Magas Fractales.

Los Sauerv'tvk'atkat kuaxat vo'raeqae (literalmente: "grandes y toscos trozos de lava") surcaron con celeridad el espacio e iban a terminar su interminable viaje estrellándose contra la Ciudad Fractal. Pero todos los Magos y Hechiceras, reunidos en cónclave en el Ágora Fractal a petición de la Maga que busca fractales en el Universo/BGai se pusieron de acuerdo y con ayuda de la más potente magia fractal construyeron un inmenso Escudo de Asteroides, asesorados por uno de los Magos Fractales especialistas en su creación, el Mago que maravillaba al Milegu/Avengium.

Sin embargo, los vo'raeqae atravesaron las protecciones y destruyeron buena parte de la antigua ciudad fractal, tanto el Bouleuterion, el Ágora, el Pritaneo como la Ópera, algunos palacios, parques y buena parte del barrio templario.

Algunos historiadores quieren ver en esta catástrofe el final de la antigua Ciudad Fractal y el inicio de la Moderna Ciudad Fractal, sin embargo la Ciudad Fractal es un espacio paradójico en si mismo, por lo que no es posible establecer una cronología clara para uno u otro suceso.

La Destrucción de los vo'raeqae (nombre por el que también se conoce a este suceso) es un buen ejemplo de ello. Debido a que existió una defensa y una coordinación bastante relevantes entre todos los Magos Fractales, es de suponer que ya no se estaba en la época más antigua de la Ciudad Fractal, con sus disputas e inicio de las construcciones. Además, ya se había iniciado la carrera espacial, por lo que el papel de los diferentes órganos de decisión, aunque importante, había ido siendo reemplazado por el Parlamento Fractal, para, después de la Destrucción, ser el principal órgano, aunque se reconstruyera el Pritaneo, el Ágora y el Bouleuterión.

Toda esta historia es coherente consigo misma y, sin embargo, choca con otros sucesos que ocurrieron también en la Ciudad Fractal, aunque en una Ciudad ligeramente diferente: la construcción del Parlamente Fractal habría sido mucho más temprana en esa versión, dando lugar a que cuando el Parlamento Fractal aprobase la obligatoriedad de proporcionar una copia de cada fractal al Museo Fractal, los Magos Fractales y Oniromantologos disconformes con esta decisión incendiaron el Parlamento Fractal.

Independientemente de cuando sucediera, se cree que la Destrucción no fue producto de un acontecimiento natural, sino un ataque deliberado. Fuentes de alto nivel (el Embajador Fractal/Oxnot) apuntan a que fue provocado por la raza conocida como "Rak'ozkuaeñat q't'kaerkot" (literalmente: los extraños visitantes), usando estas masivas rocas como proyectiles, como hacen los Selire/Selire usando las Ranas Estelares Fractales.

Hundreds of meteorites approach continuosly to the planets inhabited by the Fractal Mages. All kind of systems protect the space colonies: planetary defenses (Great Wizard who plays with the geometry of chaos/CmdrChaos), interplanetary missils (the Patient Wizard who composes fractals/Gipgm2), tracer missils (the Fractal Ambassador/Oxnot), etc... also the majority of the colonies has missile silos (Wizard of chaos ordered in fractals/fraterchaos) and outposts (Mage who designs fractal surfaces of information/MatthewHaggett) to control any threat.

Still, there are dangers so big, that causes catastrophes even with the colaboration of many Fractal Mages and Sorceress.

The Sauerv'tvk'atkat kuaxat vo'raeqae (literally: "big and rough pieces of lava") furrowed quickly the space and their endless journey would end crashing against the Fractal City. But all the Mages and Sorceress, meeting in conclave in the Fractal Agora at the request of the Sorceress that seek for fractals in the Universe/BGai agreed and with the help of the most powerful Fractal Magic they built an immense Asteroid Shield, mentored by one of the Fractal Mages specialists in its creation, Mage who marveling the Milegu/Avengium.

However, the vo'raeqae crossed the protections and destroyed much of the ancient city fractal, both the Bouleuterion, the Agora, the Prytaneion as the Opera, some palaces, parks and much of the templar neighborhood.

Some historians want to see in this catastrophe the end of the old Fractal City and the beginning of the Modern Fractal City, however the Fractal City is a paradoxical space itself, so it is not possible to establish a clear timeline for either event.

The Destruction of the vo'raeqae (name by which also referred to this event) is a good example. Due a fairly significant defense and coordination between all Fractal Mages existed, presumably it was no longer in the oldest age of the Fractal City, with their disputes and the first constructions just starting. In addition, the space race had already started, so the role of the varios decision-making bodies, although important, had beein being replaced by the Fractal Parliament. So, after, the destruction, the Fractal Parliament was the principal organ, although the Prytaneion, Agora and Bouleuterion were rebuilt.

This whole story is consistent with itself and yet, clashes with other events that also took place in the Fractal City, although in a slightly different City: the construction Parlamente Fractal would have been much earlier in that version, resulting in that when Fractal Parliament passed the mandatory to provide a copy of each fractal to the Fractal Museum some Fractal Mages and Oniromantologists dissatisfied with this decision torched the Fractal Parliament.

Regardless of when it happened, it is believed that the destruction was not the result of a natural event, but a deliberate attack. High-level sources (the Fractal Ambassador/Oxnot) suggests that it was caused by the race known as "Rak'ozkuaeñat q't'kaerkot" (literally: the strange visitants), using these massive rocks like projectiles, like the Selire/Selire uses the Fractal Stellar Frogs.

Bones of strange species (Sorceress who seeks fractals in the Universe/BGai) have been found between the rests of the vo'raeqae, and that raises new questions.
